Meeting called to order at 7:30 pm by our exiting president Sheri Heffelfinger after a lovely Christmas meal at Ann Perkin's home.
Members present were: Members from out of town, Carol Delisi from Sheridan Mt, Drin Becker from Polaris Mt, From Helena came Steve Kilbreath and Kathleen Stevens, Amy Palmer, Liz Dagnall, Ann Perkins, Julie Muscutt, Molly Murphy and Jerry Keck.
Treasurer's Report by exiting treasurer Amy Palmer $4362.15. The 2009 Pioneer Cabin Ride made $2400.00 profit. The grant request for the Eqqus Dancing with horses project was denied. Claude from Region 6 said their wasn’t any money from AHA for 2009, However he said 2010 would have some. Sheri read the email from Brenda Wahler our representative that went to the AHA National convention.
Old and New business: Pioneer Cabin Ride Date 08/14 & 15th 2010
After a lengthy discussion it was decided to keep the ride in Aug. This last year was our best turn out ever which may have been due to the date.
Liz Dagnall brought up the idea to make this a Pioneer Ride with three days and one of them being 55 miles. After some discussion it was voted to stay with 2 days for 2010 and think about the three day option in 2011.
Ham radio operators will receive a $25 gas card for expenses for 2010.
Drin Becker handed out the prizes for the Tri – Arabian Distance awards:

Julie Muscutt came in 1st place with 335 Total Miles on MTN Montgomery
Drin Becker came in 2nd place with 305 Total Miles on CW Ruffian
Liz Dagnall came in 3rd place with 285 Total Miles on Roses April Rain
The follow up distances were Liz Dagnall on Elh Naama with 205 miles, Liz Dagnall on Ole’s Tango with 85 miles, Carol Delesi on BBA Samrah with 25 miles.
