NEXT MEETING -- Sept 2nd at Ellen Taylor's - 2740 Lincoln Rd Helena 6:30pm
- (1) Spring Thaw Horse Show
- Amy put ad in ADIT that starts Sunday.
- Liz put poster in Bobs Market
- Amy put posters in three or four places.
- Amy checked into insurance. The prices were about $200 per event. There was a suggestion to check Northwest Insurance Company as they serve Hooves and Company for a reasonable price.
- If insurance can be obtained reasonably to cover multiple events, then other events and perhaps some clinic are desirable.
- Juli moved to buy blanket insurance if reasonable priced. Seconded by Liz. All agreed.
- Liz will get Chrisy Messer's phone number to Suzan so she can call her about being a judge.
- The ad in the ADIT for the tack sale refers to our web site for more information.
- It was agreed to provide Hot Dogs, Chili, and pop at the show. Donations for food will be requested.
- Amy will send letter to Wendy's to ask for chili.
- Anne was designated to manage the tack sale since she was not present :)
- Amy will send email notification of Spring Thaw show to large email list.
- Suzan agreed to find a judge for the show.
- It was decided to not buy any more mini ponies to give out with the ribbons.
- It was agreed that the tack sale and the food concession should be in close proximity.
- (2) Pioneer Cabin Endurance Ride
- We do not have final approval from forest service yet. Juli does not anticipate any problems getting it.
- Bobbi is to call the Vet.
- Bobbi will make a poster for the endurance ride. Amy will make copies so they can be handed out at the Roundup endurance ride.
- (3) General
- Bobbi will talk to roundup managers to ask if it is ok to show quilt and sell raffle tickets.
- It was agreed to set a tentative date for a scavenger hunt for June 16.
